Northumberland County Cricket have booked the ground at Bamburgh for two Women's Softball Tournaments this season on 21st and 29th July 2024. Bamburgh Cricket Club are sponsoring the Softball festival on 21st July as our own excellent club cake maker Susan Parmley has kindly agreed to provide the cricket tea for the participants on that day. Women's Soft Ball Cricket is a short form of cricket, using a soft cricket ball and non-wooden bats. The game is designed to give everyone a fair opportunity to bat, bowl and field, in a supportive environment; which makes it a brilliant way for women of all ages, abilities and experience levels, to get involved. Come and see for yourself!
